Class Rings

Caps and Gowns

Herff-Jones will be back at MCNY the week of March 9th - 16th for Cap and Gown orders.

Prices for caps and gowns (subject to change):

Associates Degree:  $34
Bachelor’s Degree:   $38
Master’s Degree:      $40

Acceptable form of payment: Cash only

Commencement Guidelines

Who Can Participate?

The College will be honoring students who satisfactorily completed degree requirements for the semesters ending in August 2012, December 2012 and April 2013. For those who completed in April, only your academic record is being audited at this time. Because of time constraints, your non-academic record may take longer to audit. If you have not completed an application for graduation, available at the Office of the Registrar, please do so now. After an application is filed, records are then checked and eligibility for graduation is confirmed. The Office of the Registrar then prepares the list of students who qualify to participate in commencement. If you have questions about participating call extension 5008.

When and Where?

Graduation is scheduled for Saturday, June 8, 2013 at The Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, located in Manhattan 11th Avenue between 34th and 39th Streets. Use the entrance at 11th Avenue and 35th Street and arrive by 3:00 PM for the Graduation Picture. A Jacob K. Javits Center Guide will be distributed at the Cap and Gown distribution.

Students will pick up their cap and gown (if they preordered) on June 4th and June 5, 2pm – 7pm in the 12 Floor Art Gallery

Graduation tickets will also be available at this time.

If you still need to order your Cap and Gown, you can do it in person at the Cap and Gown Distribution Days on June 4th, and June 5th from 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM.

Cap and gown payment must be by cash or money order at the time they are ordered. Costs are:

• Master's degree candidates - $40.00.
• Bachelor's degree candidates - $38.00.
• Associate degree candidates - $34.00.
• Bring exact dollar amount. Money orders are payable to Collegiate Cap and Gown.

NOTE: We will NOT distribute or bring any items to the Jacob Javits Center for Commencement.
